Report for America Applications Open January 20

Report for America (RFA), a national service program dedicated to strengthening local journalism and the communities it serves, will open applications for its 2026 corps member class on January 20, 2026. The deadline to apply is February 16, 2026.

RFA places early-career reporters, photographers, and videographers in local newsrooms across the country to cover under-reported issues and communities. As a corps member, you’ll join a movement committed to producing journalism that is truthful, fearless, fair, and smart, while receiving training, mentorship, and ongoing professional support.

These are full-time roles beginning in July 2026. More than 60 positions will be available nationwide.
