Evan Kropp, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Online Graduate Programs director, and Cheryl Oberlin, UFCJC Online assistant director, will be presenters at the 2022 Quality Matters (QM) Connect Conference on Nov. 8 in Tucson, Arizona.

Their session, “So, You Hired an Industry Rockstar to Develop a Course. They Think Canvas in a Painting. Now What?,” will focus on how to choose the best course instructor from either a great teacher or a solid industry expert with no teaching experience. Based on their experience, the industry expert is the winner every time.

The 2022 QM Connect Conference offers the opportunity for participants to exchange ideas with a community that is breaking boundaries to try new things and focus on student success. The sessions will offer fresh ideas on course implementation, course design and quality assurance efforts.
