Rachel Grant, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications  Journalism assistant professor, will be part of a round-table discussion at the American Journalism Historians Association (AJHA) National Convention in Memphis, Tennessee on Oct. 1.

Grant will be one of six academic scholars participating in “Meet Us at the Corner Where Journalism, Gender and Race Intersect.” They will explore the intersection of journalism, race, and gender from the mid-nineteenth century to the present.

The fall gathering of the AJHA includes approximately 150 media historians participating in discussion on teaching and research.
