Careers in Communication Fair – March 16, 2022 (in-person event)

The Careers in Communication Fair offers students interested in internships and jobs in advertising, journalism, public relations, media production, management, and technology (MPMT), and related communications roles the opportunity to connect with employers in the industry. Please RSVP for the fair and share a copy of your resume. Employers will review student resumes and may contact you to share opportunities before or after the fair.

  • Date: Wednesday, March 16, 2022, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Location: Reitz Union Grand Ballroom (located on level 2), University of Florida

Career Planning Appointments & Express Drop-In
Career coaches are available to help you achieve your career goals, whether you are strategizing for a job search or updating your resume or other application materials.

  • Express Drop-In is available Monday-Friday, 1-4 p.m., for resume and cover letter reviews or quick career questions. Check the Express Drop-In website for locations and updates.
  • Schedule a Career Planning appointment for personalized assistance:
    • Log in to Gator CareerLink (use your Gatorlink username and password; if this is your first time logging in, you will need to set up your account)
    • Once on the main page, click Counseling Appt in the left-hand menu, then Request New Appointment.
    • Select your Appointment Type, enter your availability (date, day of week, time, etc.),and click Check Availability.
    • Find the date and time you would like to meet, click the staff member’s name for that time, enter appointment details on the Confirm Appointment screen, and then Submit Request.
