Nicolette Jennings, B.S. Telecommunication 2018, and Miss Clearwater Beach USA was crowned Miss Florida USA 2019 on Jan. 19. She will now represent Florida at the Miss USA Pageant later this year.

While at CJC, Jennings was a multimedia reporter for ESPN Gainesville and WUFT Sports. She was a sports anchor on WUFT-TV’s “First at Five” and recently served as a video intern at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She is now pursuing an online Sports Management degree at Texas A&M University.

In addition to Jennings participation, Telecommunication senior Sophia LaFrance competed in the 2019 pageant representing South Winter Park.
