Summary

Dr. Martin-Kratzer’s research interests are media effects, visual communication, news sources and credibility. More specifically, she is interested in the use of violent or disturbing news photographs and viewers’ emotional responses; the use of anonymous sources and how these sources affect perceptions of news credibility; and the absence of females as news sources across all media.
