Editor's note: So, Why two different magazine covers?

Editor-in-Chief Dorian Wagner
With all this talk about UF's 150th birthday, we decided to celebrate in our own special way-by having Marilyn Monroe sing "Happy Birthday" to us just like she sang it to "Mr. President." One problem- Marilyn's not around anymore. We needed a substitute. But who? And then it hit us. Who better to get all dolled up in a little low-cut white dress and seductively flaunt flanks of daringly hairy skin than business law professor Robert Emerson, the man you see on TV wearing hundreds of costumes? Scary? You have no idea. But I got talked into shopping for his fabulous dress and picking out the perfect wig. I even applied the bright red lipstick. And let me tell you, when I saw this ridiculously enthusiastic man bend forward, wink, pucker up and blow a kiss to the camera, it was all worth it. We might be nuts, but you have to admit, it is funny…

Rebekah Brewster coverRobert Emerson coverSome of you are seeing the issue featuring Rebekah Brewster, a student who has been through so much and whose story is so compelling we wanted to give it the cover. Rebekah woke up one morning as smoke and flames consumed her bedroom. She suffered third degree burns on her entire body from the neck down, but refused to let it ruin her life. After months of surgeries and therapy, she's a true survivor. And she's taken the experience and decided to help other burn victims. A person this special deserves the cover.
