Robert Stecklow, TEL 1995, is a writer/producer for ABC Sports Advertising and Promotion, who was assigned to work with veteran commentator Keith Jackson at this year’s Rose Bowl. He was married Aug. 11 to Laurie, a first grade teacher and Maryland graduate. So the Orange bowl had special significance.

Danny Wuerffel, PR 1996, and Chris Doering, TEL 1995, have been reunited with Coach Steve Spurrier at the Washington Redskins. The 1996 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback at UF has played with the New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and NFL Europe’s Rhein Fire during his career. Receiver Doering played for the Denver Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Chuck Cooperstein, TEL 1981, covered play-by-play for the first round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament from Dallas. He was part of the Westwood One/CBS Radio Sports and Host Communications Inc. broadcast team.
