Who can go?

Any UF student, undergraduate or graduate, is eligible and welcome to join the program. 

Although the courses are offered through the departments of Advertising, Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations, and Telecommunications, students from any major are welcome.  Many courses do not have prerequisites. 

If you are a major in one of the College of Journalism and Communications departments, your courses will generally help to fulfill degree requirements.  Check with your department advisor to be sure.

If you are a major from outside the college, the courses may help to fulfill the requirements of the Mass Communication Minor.  For students not minoring in Mass Communications, courses often count as electives.  Check with your advisor to make sure the courses fit with your degree plan.
