Graduate students in any specialization are welcome to take Survey of Electronic Publishing (MMC 5015) and Advanced Online Media Production (MMC 6936). In addition, graduate students in the College of Journalism and Communications may arrange a customized course of individual study under the supervision of a member of the faculty. A project in interactive design makes an excellent focus for such a course, as do specific research projects. Students may choose elective courses that best meet their needs. Each student develops a degree plan, working closely with an academic adviser. The plan must be approved by the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies. Students complete a thesis or equivalent project to earn the Master of Arts in Mass Communication. |
