MINDY McADAMS Professor and Knight Chair in Journalism Technologies and the Democratic Process, Mindy McAdams joined the faculty in 1999 after more than 10 years in professional journalism. She became the first content developer at Digital Ink, The Washington Post’s first online newspaper, in 1994 -- after working as a copy editor in book publishing, for a weekly business newspaper, at Time magazine and on the Metro desk at The Washington Post. She has also been a consultant and the Web strategist at the American Press Institute. Professor McAdams teaches Technology, Change and Communications (MMC 2265), Advanced Online Media Production (MMC 4341), Reporting and Writing for Online Media (JOU 4341) and New Media and a Democratic Society (MMC 6441).
