UF Design Students Win Five Awards

(April 3, 2001) UF advanced design students have won five awards in the national Society of Newspaper Design contest for college students, Professor John Kaplan announced today.

This is the first year that the college has offered an advanced journalism graphics course. Four of the five national winners were from advanced journalism graphics class projects. Just two schools, Ohio and Indiana, had more total winners than the UF program.
