Kiousis, Lamme, Mitrook Accept PR Faculty Positions
(February 13, 2002) Dean Terry Hynes announced today three new faculty will join the college as assistant professors in the Department of Public Relations in August. They are:
Spiro Kiousis: Since August 2000, an assistant professor of public relations in the School of Journalism at Iowa State University. Ph.D. (journalism), University of Texas at Austin; M.A. (media studies), Stanford; B.A. (mass media), San Francisco.
Margot (Meg) Opdycke Lamme: Doctoral candidate (ABD), College of Communication and Information Sciences, The University of Alabama; Master of Communication degree from Georgia State; B. A. (psychology and political science), Emory. More than 15 years of public relations and media experience.
Michael Mitrook: Since Fall 1998, an assistant professor in the
Nicholson School of Communication, University of Central Florida. Ph.D.
(mass communication), The University of Alabama; M.A. (journalism and
mass communication), Georgia; B. A. (communication), Massachusetts at
Amherst. Approximately five years experience in media relations and sales.
