News Wall Unveiled for Fall 2001 Semester

Students catch up on the latest news at the "News Wall."

The start of the Fall 2001 semester marked the unveiling of the new College of Journalism and Communications "News Wall," located in the Weimer Hall atrium at the entrance to the Gannett Auditorium.

The display features a 50-inch high-definition digital television screen, four 17-inch computer monitors that rotate among 200 news service web sites, two 27-inch televisions showing news and weather channels, and a text crawler that will feature the latest headlines from Associated Press. Two additional 27-inch televisions will feature WUFT and WLUF.
