communigator wins Golden Gator award

(May 8, 2002) -- communigator, the newsletter of the College of Journalism and Communications, has won the 2002 Golden Gator award for outstanding newsletter at UF from the University Office of Public Relations, Prof. James L. Terhune, communigator Editor, announced today.

The communigator is published in October and April by the college to provide information about its programs to the University community, alumni and friends in the communications field.

The purpose of the Golden Gator awards is to recognize outstanding examples of public relations tactics, techniques, products or other elements of programs or campaigns by UF communicators, faculty and professionals.
