Dickson, Molleda, Spiker receive Flanagan awards
(August 23, 2004) The 2004 recipients of the Flanagan STAR Bonus Awards for Service, Teaching and Research were announced today by Dean Terry Hynes. They are:
- Prof. Sandra Dickson, co-director, The Documentary Institute, and Professor, Telecommunication;
- Prof. Juan Carlos Molleda, Assistant Professor, Public Relations; and
- Prof. Ted Spiker, Assistant Professor, Journalism.
These awards are made possible due to the bequest made to the college by alumnus Al and his wife Effie Flanagan. The STAR Awards recognize faculty members' outstanding performance in all three areas for the past three years. The award includes a STAR plaque and a cash bonus of $3,000.
