UF leads country in conference paper presentations

(August 6, 2003) The UF College of Journalism and Communications had more conference paper presentations at the AEJMC (Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication) annual convention than any other university in the country, Lynda Lee Kaid, Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, announced today.

At the AEJMC convention in Kansas City from July 30 - August 2, UF faculty and students presented a total of 42 papers. Many faculty also participated as moderators and discussants on panels and programs at the conference. In addition, UF faculty and students won 10 top paper awards, which was more than any other university at the conference.
