Rick Bragg spoke to students in the Department of Journalism as part of the Hearst Visiting Professional program.
His best-selling books include All Over but the Shoutin’, Ava’s Man, and Somebody Told Me and I am a Soldier, Too, the Jessica Lynch story.
He won the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for feature writing while working at The New York Times. He was cited for “elegantly written stories about contemporary America.”
