Dear Friends,

I have great news! Last Friday at the national ACEJMC Accrediting Council meeting in Arlington, Va., the College received unanimous approval for re-accreditation. The vote was unanimous for both the undergraduate and graduate programs, with no abstentions.

During breaks and before the session started, I received numerous words of praise about our programs and the site team report. Our efforts in emerging technologies and innovation were particularly noted in the report. This makes me tremendously proud since that was the cornerstone of my vision when I came in as Dean of this College.

Earlier this spring, in an email to the faculty and staff, Dean Emeritus Ralph Lowenstein stated in his almost 40 years of working closely with ACEJMC “he had never seen an accrediting report for any school as glowing as the one the College received.”

This means everything to the College’s faculty, staff and students because of the remarkable accomplishments we’ve made over the past six-year period. The accreditation team offered its glowing report despite the fact that since our last re-accreditation we have fewer people doing all the hard work, but just as many or more students.

I have to say though, many contributed to our success – faculty, staff, students and our leadership team. I’d like to especially mention Executive Associate Dean Linda Hon for her outstanding leadership directing the accreditation self-study.

This is a tremendous accomplishment and a tribute to the very hard work of our faculty, staff, students and administrators. Please join me in celebrating this great accomplishment!

Go Gators!
