Chamberlin wins doctoral dissertation advisor/mentoring award

(February 14, 2003) Professor Bill Chamberlin, Joseph L. Brechner Eminent Scholar in Mass Communication, has been selected as one of only five UF faculty to receive a 2003 Doctoral Dissertation Advisor/Mentoring Award from UF's Office of Research and Graduate Programs, Dean Terry Hynes announced today. Chamberlin and the other four UF faculty are being recognized for their "dedication to the support of graduate education and sponsorship of student research."

The recognition includes a $3,000 pre-cash award to each faculty member and $1,000 for each faculty member to use to support his/her graduate students.
