Part of the curriculum in the “New Freedoms in the Media” institute includes learning how to ‘blog.’ All the participants used the program “Wordpress” to create blogs as well as how to change their appearance, write better blog entries and link text. They were shown how to subscribe to other people’s blogs and how to syndicate content. They also discussed the use of group class blogs and individual blogs in an educational context. A few of our participants keep their blogs active.
