Chuck Cooperstein

Chuck is the radio play-by-play announcer for the Dallas Mavericks on ESPN 103.3 FM  He has been a regular on the Dallas/Fort Worth sports scene since 1984 and has served as an anchor on ESPN 103.3 since its inception in 2001.

Cooperstein’s extensive sports broadcasting background includes play-by-play stints with TCU and University of Texas football, as well as TCU, Texas A&M and SMU basketball. He worked with CBS/Westwood One NCAA basketball games since 1991 and CBS/Westwood One college football games since 1995. He has also hosted the Dallas Cowboys pre-game shows.

Cooperstein is the host of NCAA Football Insider and one of the top announcers in the history of Dallas sports. In addition, he has received a Katie Award for his play-by-play expertise from the Dallas Press Club.
