Distance and Continuing Education

Whether you are seeking a degree, interested in a certificate program or need courses that are available in a format that’s convenient for you, the UF College of Journalism and Communications has a variety of options from which to choose.

The College currently offers two online graduate programs in Global Strategic Communications and Web Design and Online Communication. Both can be taken at a degree or certificate level.  The third online graduate program, Social Media, begins offering a master’s degree and certificate program in the summer of 2013.

Distance Education

All distance education master’s degrees, certificate programs and classes require formal admission to the University of Florida. Applicants must meet UF’s general admission requirements as well as those specified by the individual degree program.

Continuing Education

Continuing education courses are open to the community at large and do not require formal admission to UF.
