Leigh Davidson Seaman

Leigh Davidson Seaman is an award-winning producer and show-runner with credits in multiple genres of network and cable programming. Her work has been seen on ABC, ESPN, NBC, The Rachael Ray Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNBC, PBS, CBS, CNN, CMT, MTV, TLC, Discovery Health, Fine Living, Food Network, DIY, The Discovery Network, Channel One, HGTV, and internationally on UKTV Style and Reuters Television.
Best known as a show-launcher Seaman is credited with creating close to a dozen cable series, including the Emmy-nominated programs “Trading Spaces” and “Warehouse Warriors.”
Prior to working in the cable series environment, Leigh Seaman was a producer in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC where she covered national news for various outlets including ABC News and Reuters Television. She also covered sporting events, including the Olympic Games, the NFL, and Major League Baseball, and produced feature stories for ESPN and NBC Sports. Her work in the field of medical television earned her the prestigious “Gracie” award from Women in Television and Film.
In addition to series and news television, Seaman has produced radio series, commercials, branded programming, DVD’s, and contributes to several print publications.
Currently Seaman is Co-Executive Producer and Creative Director for Ty Pennington Productions. She lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with her husband and two children.
