Gordon, a 20-year Cox Enterprises employee, was named to his current position, Executive Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Cox Target Media, in 2001. He joined CTM in January 2000 as Executive Vice President of Sales
Gordon was Regional Vice President at CableRep, a division of Cox Communications from 1996-2000. Gordon served in a variety of other management positions in CableRep from 1983-1996, including Director of Advertising Sales and Advertising Sales Manager. He served as a member of the Committee on Local Audience Measurement and the Committee on National Sales and Advertising for the Cable Advertising Bureau and received the President’s Award for career achievement from that organization. He also has served on the Customer Advisory Committee for Scarborough and Nielson research services.
Gordon continues to serve on the University of Florida’s Telecommunications Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Direct Marketing Association. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree (ABT) from the Florida Atlantic University.
