Minor in Mass Communication Studies
Requirements:
- Students applying for a Minor in Mass Communication Studies must file
a formal application at the Office of Student Services in 1000 Weimer Hall.
Two (2) courses must be completed before your application will be approved.
- All applicants must have a 3.00 or higher UF cumulative grade point average.
- At least nine hours for the Minor must be completed in residence at the
University of Florida.
- All courses for the Minor must be completed with
a grade of “C” or better. S/U grades are not acceptable.
- Individual
Problems courses (4905) may not be applied toward the Minor.

- You must be in your upper division
college to apply. You must use an official application form.
- You may not
be a major in the College of Journalism and Communications.
- You must obtain
the approval of your college dean prior to coming to this office for final
approval.
- You must at least be one full semester away from graduation.
