Job Description

The candidate is expected to develop a research program in the area of media consumer research that generates both theoretical knowledge and actionable business recommendations, especially in topics related to mobile, social and multi-platform.

Assist in developing primary and secondary research, analytics and insights that inform audience targeting and engagement, content development and market strategies for the Division of Multimedia Properties.

Manage and advise student research teams on both analytics and custom studies and coordinate research related resources and usage.

Write research journal articles and reports, make research presentations, and assist with grant writing and management.

Help maintain and cultivate relationships with the research and media industries.

Advertised Salary

$40,000 – $50,000 or commensurate with qualification and experience

Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. in communication related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Applicants possessing the following preferred, non-required qualifications are encouraged to apply:

1) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 2) Excellent skills in research design and implementation; 3) An established refereed publication record; 4) Extensive experience in statistical analysis, focus group studies, or applied research.
