Assistant Professor of Online Journalism
The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications is constructing a state-of-the-art, multi-platform newsroom that will provide advanced training for students in online journalism. As part of this transformation, the Department of Journalism is looking for a new colleague to join us beginning in August 2010. The successful candidate for this position must have the ability to teach multimedia or online journalism skills, as well as other skills/media courses, such as visual communication. The candidate must possess professional experience and demonstrate potential for excellence in research or creative activities. We are seeking a tenure-track assistant professor with a Ph.D. by the date of appointment, although those with significant professional experience and a master’s degree may seek appointment as a lecturer.
