s the first cold front of the season sweeps through the area this fall, you realize your winter break days won’t be spent lounging on the beach. Instead, imagine burying your ski tips into feet of fresh powder, weaving easily between pine trees, or launching off moguls to perform aerial maneuvers that, in all reality, you probably can’t pull off. Then you open your eyes and find yourself staring up at palm trees and swatting away mosquitoes as they ride the sticky breeze across your front porch.
