Bob Sitrick promoted to Discovery Networks VP

Bob Sitrick

Bob Sitrick, TEL 1980, is the new vice president for live production and special projects at Discovery Networks, U.S. The 20-year veteran in television and technical operations handles all operational aspects of all Discovery Networks live events and will provide technical support for other special event production.

Sitrick spent seven years as director of Comedy Central and worked in the production department at CBS and NBC Sports and operations at Unitel Video.

In addition to Discovery Channel TLC, the network manages Animal Planet, Travel Channel, Health Channel, Kids Channel, Science Channel, Home & Leisure Channel, Civilization Channel, Wings Channel and Discovery en Espanol. The unit also distributes BBC America.
