Deaths

Gus H. Hancock, MA 1961, a retired Navy commander who was editor of the Naval Intelligence Quarterly newsletter and executive director of Naval Intelligence Professionals, died Oct. 1 at his home in Reston, Va. He joined the Navy in 1957 and retired in 1980. He was 67.

Jim Camp, a continuity writer for WRUF when he retired in 1982, died Nov. 23 in Gainesville. He was 82.

Jim Finch, the longtime voice of the Gators at Florida Field and a former WRUF talk show host, died Feb. 22 in Gainesville. For many years he and Otis Boggs hosted the popular morning "OJ" program. He was 69.
