Reporter to pastry chef

Rachel Ruff Bayus with her cake featured on HGTV

Rachel Ruff Bayus, TEL 1997, has graduated again, with honors, as a pastry chef from L'Academie de Cuisine in Washington, D.C. She's featured here making a 50th wedding anniversary cake for a segment called "Going Home" which will air this spring on the HGTV network. She said, "I still haven't decided what's more challenging-making puff pastry or editing a tape!"

She spent four years as a food/health reporter/producer at CNN in Atlanta.
