Organ & Tissue Donor Awareness

Public relations majors Erin Thompson and Kim Sanchez were co-chairs of the team that developed a campaign, “Share Your Wishes: Let Your Family Know,” to promote organ and tissue donation. Leah Schindel Lytle, an adjunct instructor in public relations, was their adviser.

The team sponsored the first Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness Day on the UF campus on April 18. A forum outside the Reitz Union presented testimonials, including persons who have received transplants and those who are awaiting ones.
