Raising the Bar

Direct Marketing Gold ECHO

A team of students drawn from Advertising Direct Response and Public Relations Strategy courses won the Direct Marketing Foundation prize. Members of the winning team were Nicholas DiGiacomo, Danielle Francese, Skye McEntire and Joseph Weadick. The challenge was to create an integrated marketing campaign to reach young adults.

Faculty advisers were Dr. Lisa Duke, assistant professor of advertising, and Dr. Margarete R. Hall, associate professor of public relations.

A second UF team, consisting of Amanda Chereck, Kate Cigoi, Susan Corrigan and Tamarind Murietta, won honorable mention for creative. And a third team, Brooke Halcros, Mark McCullough, Laurence Rogers and Spencer Williams, was a national semi-finalist.
