Gini Gibson Geary, PR 1987, is a librarian and adjunct
professor in mass communication / library science for Matanuska-Susitna
College of the University of Alaska Anchorage. She wrote, I spent
many hours studying in the Colleges library
and that probably
contributed to the development of my interest in and appreciation for
libraries! She and her husband, Michael, have a daughter, Meghan,
who is 4. She added, Alaska is a great place in which to live and
work, though I do miss the Florida sunshine and sandy beaches as well
as Gator football games.

have lived in Alaska for 11 years. He works in the photo department
of the Anchorage Daily News and she is a middle school language

is like being a kid in a candy storethe sheer beauty, the remote
locations, the wildlife, the quality of lightits a great
place to work and live. Were lucky to have landed here.
